During my recent stay at Auberge, I had the pleasure of experiencing La Marionnette, the hotel’s fine-dining restaurant. Nestled within the charming village, the ambiance reflects an understated elegance that complements the culinary offerings. Understanding the importance of a good meal, I indulged in the French cuisine, where each dish demonstrated culinary innovation and seasonal flavors. The host, Monsieur Girres, proved to be an adept sommelier, perfectly pairing wines that enhanced our dining experience. The atmosphere was serene, allowing for great conversations, and I appreciated the garden view which offered a tranquil backdrop. While the vintage room required a touch of TLC, it remained clean and comfortable for a restful night. For fellow food enthusiasts visiting the area, a meal at La Marionnette should not be missed. I look forward to returning for more and delving deeper into the local flavors that define this welcoming retreat.
